1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using Pulse ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Pulse is an AI-powered news intelligence platform that aggregates publicly available information about public figures from multiple sources, including news articles, social media, financial data, and public records. The Service provides AI-generated summaries, sentiment analysis, and related features.

3. Account Registration

• You must provide a valid email address and create a password to use the Service.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
• One person or entity may not maintain more than one account.

4. Free and Pro Tiers

Pulse offers a free tier with limited features and a paid Pro tier with additional capabilities. Pro tier pricing and features are described on our Pricing page.

• Free tier includes daily usage limits on lookups.
• Pro subscriptions are billed monthly via Stripe. You can cancel at any time.
• Upon cancellation, your Pro features remain active until the end of the billing period.
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice to active subscribers.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
• Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to extract data from the Service beyond normal API usage.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service.
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure.
• Resell or redistribute the Service without written permission.
• Use the Service to harass, stalk, or harm any individual.

6. AI-Generated Content

Pulse uses AI to generate summaries, analysis, and answers. This content is provided for informational purposes only.

• AI-generated content may contain inaccuracies. Always verify important information from primary sources.
• AI summaries are not a substitute for professional advice (legal, financial, medical, etc.).
• We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any AI-generated output.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, and branding, is owned by Pulse. You retain ownership of any content you create (e.g., custom categories, bookmarks). News content aggregated by the Service belongs to its respective publishers and is used under fair use principles for commentary and analysis.

8. Data and Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your data.

9. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, updates, or due to circumstances beyond our control.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pulse and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or engage in activity that harms the Service or other users. You may delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
